Pippa is a wonderful kitty girl with a personality that pegs her as the middle sister. She's fun, playful and energetic. Pippa is very sweet and gentle. She's a very well-rounded kitten who can make herself at home in just about any situation. The most endearing thing about Pippa is that she is sweet . . . Southern Sweet Tea kind of sweet! She's always up for being held and cuddled and is happy to spend her time doing whatever you are doing. Pippa loves food and snacks and is determined to try to help you make a happy plate -- doesn't matter what is on the menu! She will painfully climb up your leg to get in your culinary business. Pippa's persistent behavior needs some gentle reminders. She is smart, resourceful, athletic and a thinker -- all good signs that Pippa could be easily trainable and more than capable of learning cute tricks and safe stunts if her endeavors are channeled in the right direction. Otherwise, she is practically an angel! Pippa's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Due to her climbing up the leg stunt, Pippa is not a good fit for people with tender skin, immune or balance issues. The trick will more than likely taper off as she becomes a young adult. Pippa should do well with other cats; she is bubbly with littermates Pandora and Paisley. Pippa is accustomed to being around cat-friendly dogs. She is black with a medium length coat and gold eyes. As of May 2024, Pippa is 4 months old.

Pandora is aptly named and is a spirited ball of energy and excitement. She is always busy and up for just about any adventure. Pandora is very playful and spunky, but also has a sweet and cuddly side, especially when she is tired. She can be a bit talkative, and a bit sassy when she doesn't get her way. One thing is for sure: Life is never boring with Pandora around! She will play with almost anything and likes to cautiously investigate everything. Pandora is very smart and incessantly curious. Catnip intensifies her energy and excitement and turns her into a little firecracker for a bit! Pandora's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; she should do great in any home that can handle some excitement! Pandora gets along with other cats as she frolics with littermates Paisley and Pippa. She should be fine with a cat-friendly dog. Pandora has a blue coat with a white locket and white belly spot and diminutive cheek whiskers! As of May 2024, Pandora is 4 months old.

Paisley is a very affectionate and tender-hearted kitten. She has a very gentle nature and is usually the last one of her littermates to race off to adventure. Paisley is courteous, polite and ladylike. She is very playful, active, tranquil and delicate. Paisley enjoys toys of every sort and loves cardboard boxes and kitty tunnels. She likes to hunt bugs, chase dust bunnies or chase other kittens. Paisley enjoys catnip and sunshine. When she is tired, Paisley is ready to snuggle and cuddle with her human companion. She is a perfect mix of cute and cuddly, sweet and shy, along with a little spunky and silly. Paisley's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; a home that is calm and peaceful with a routine as she will quickly learn a schedule. She should do well with other cats; Paisley loves peaceable playtime with her littermates Pandora and Pippa. Her best dog friends are ones that are not loud barkers as the barking startles her. Paisley prefers dogs that ignore her as she is not fond of playtime with the pooches! She is a brown tiger tabby with bold black stripes on her front legs. As of May 2024, Paisley is 4 months old.

Poppy is incredibly lovely, confident, resilient and vocal. She adores being held and sneaks in her fair share of cuddles and snuggles with her favorite people. Poppy can be very talkative when ready to eat. She enjoys rolling in catnip and playing with catnip toys. Poppy is happiest when playing with her kittens, sunning or taking short cat naps on the couch. She goes for delicious squeeze up treats. Poppy's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family who will love and spoil her. She has a habit of walking in front of people and getting under your feet. This habit may pose a tripping risk for people with balance or mobility issues. Poppy is bossy toward other cats and won't hesitate to bop a cat (or dog) that doesn't respect her majesty. It is best to place Poppy with cats that are humble, adopt her along with one of her kittens or she will be fine as the only cat. Poppy is warm and gracious with cat-friendly dogs. Although she enjoys the company of other pets, a slow and proper introduction is advised. Poppy is 1 year old with a black medium length coat that unveils reddish brown highlights.

Introducing Friends of Jackson County’s “P” family – Poppy, Paisley, Pandora & Pippa! This little family was found abandoned in February when one of our foster volunteers brought them in a home environment under our Cat Foster Program. In addition to Poppy’s three kittens, she warmly welcomed four orphaned kittens. Poppy & her kittens are recovering from spay surgery & will soon be ready for a home where they will never be abandoned again. More photos & personality coming soon!
