We are a non-profit organization and are supported entirely through contributions.   We do not receive any support from any government entities or national organizations, so every donation makes a BIG IMPACT.  We guarantee that ALL donations are used for the care of animals from the Jackson County Animal Shelter who are waiting for their forever homes.

All donations – Monetary, In-Kind, and Fundraiser Items – are tax deductible.

PLEASE NOTE:  although our commitment is to assist and pull animals from the Jackson County Animal Shelter, WE ARE NOT THE SHELTER.  We do not receive any donations that are dropped off at the shelter in Gautier.

Dog/Puppy FOOD and cat/kitten FOOD are main items we need donated. Cat litter, puppy pads, kennels are very helpful as well. See In-Kind Donations for drop off location below on this page.

Monetary Donations

Each year, FJCASP typically spends more than $23,000 on medical treatment for animals we have rescued from the Jackson County Animal Shelter.  The most common needs were for animals that had heartworms, dental issues, amputations, mange, UTI, URI and more.  We also provide vaccinations and preventatives (heartworm, flea & tick, worms) for all of our fostered animals.  These expenses add up quickly so all monetary donations are greatly appreciated.
